Learning Materials: E-studio Out of Darkness - Windows Media Player

Toni Lavender, Ben Andrews and Steve Arnott from the E-studio project team take us through their learning materials called “Out of Darkness” which aim to teach the genre of Film Noir to HND students in an engaging way. Still in progress, Toni and Ben explain the way that the learning materials are being developed and their potential for repurposing for use in other courses and subjects.

This video has been designed to be interactive to enable you to explore the Out of Darkness materials yourself and experience the learning process involved. Please follow the instructions as you go through the video.

You will need either Quicktime or Windows Media Player to view the videos. The videos are designed to be played using a broadband (ADSL, Cable Modem, DSL, T1) connection. They will not run correctly using a dial-up connection.If choosing the Windows Media Player, please open it in a separate player, and resize accordingly.
