These guidelines cover the many different issues you may need to tackle if you are reusing existing materials to produce new learning package. The X4L Learning for a Healthier Nation (Healthier Nation) Project produced these guidelines based on research and experiences with tutors. The set of guidelines can be used as a whole or on their own.
The guidelines cover the following issues: Identifying a package to be developed, Identifying available materials, Storyboarding, embedding materials, Linking to materials, Creating new materials, Making your materials reusable, Working with VLEs, Accessibility, Copyright, Reviewing package and Preparing for use of a package. The guidelines are meant to serve as a general introduction to the above topics and would be useful for awareness raising in these areas.
The guidelines, available online, include case studies which relate specific lessons learned to advice in the guidelines. This entry is for the complete guidelines, but there are also entries throughout the Cookbook for the individual guidelines which are in pdf format. |
